Born and raised in New York, I am a city girl at heart. I am ridiculously close to my amazing family, and have been attached at the hip to my boyfriend since we were 16 years old. My sister and I share a love of traveling, and she has been my inspiration to take this trip to Bolivia.
I studied Anthropology at Boston University, and later decided to pursue a career in the wonderful profession of Nursing. So after living and working in Beantown for a little while, I moved back to the Big Apple where I am currently a pediatric nurse practitioner student at Columbia University. I never knew how much I would love working with children, but now I can’t imagine doing anything else – they are such fun, amazing little creatures! :)
I have many goals in life and traveling to South America and learning Spanish are among the top. Thus, the chance to combine these goals with pediatric health is an unbelievable opportunity.
